Our Night Sky Observatory Is Now Open

Want to see the starry night sky but have too much light pollution at home? And did you ever want to look at them through a telescope? We can help! Whether it be for school research or own interest, we can provide you with a once-in-a life-time experience and use our telescope to view the heavens. Thanks to the many donations from our community we are able to provide this service to you. It is free to use for school children and their teachers. To help with the day-to-day running expenses of our center, we are asking for a small donation from the general public should individuals choose to use our telescope for their own use. The telescope can be accessed from anywhere by using the Team Viewer program! The "free to schools" use of our telescope can be booked the second Wednesday of every month, in half hour time slots, starting from 10PM until 1AM pending weather. If you are a "general public" user, the telescope is available to you the forth Wednesday of each month. For more information or to book a time slot, please email us at info@aspenranchcanada.com

If you are a "free to schools" student, in your note to us please indicate:
  • your name
  • which school you are registered in
  • if you are a minor; that your parents have given you permission to use our equipment - this is to be done via an email directly to us from your parents/guardian using the email address above
  • the date and time you are requesting to use our telescope
Once you have provided us with this information we will email you with a confirmation of availability and a time slot reservation. When using our telescope you agree to the terms listed in our telescope use regulations.
